Who is Harbor Canvas Company, LLC?
My name is David, and I am the owner and operator of Harbor Canvas Company, LLC. A lifelong boater with a passion for marine craftsmanship, I’m professionally trained in custom marine canvas fabrication. My journey began in 2006 with the restoration of a 1967 Chris Craft and evolved into Harbor Canvas Company in 2014.

Screen Garage Door Enclosures: Tailored for function and durability.
Marine and Outdoor Cushions: Custom-crafted for comfort and style.
Covid Protection Barriers: Canvas and acrylic barriers for safety.

Duck Canvas Bags: Custom duffle, ditty, and tote bags.
Why Custom Marine Canvas? Each project is meticulously patterned to your boat’s specifications, ensuring a clean, professional fit that factory-made canvas products can’t match. My unique design methods and consistent attention to detail result in a high level of craftsmanship across all products. Key elements include concealed external zippers, which create a sleek look while protecting zippers from UV exposure. I also use double-material visors (forward and aft), adding durability and form.
Only marine-grade stainless steel hardware is used—no plastic fittings or aluminum tubing. All frames are custom-designed and fabricated in my shop to ensure that signature, clean look. I rely exclusively on high-quality, marine-grade products like Solarfix UV thread and Sunbrella marine fabrics. Cheaper, lower-quality materials may save costs initially but typically lead to a shorter lifespan, poor fit, and higher long-term expenses.
