Bimini Tops and Enclosures

Quality Bimini Tops and Enclosures costom made for a clean fit and professional appearance.

Custom Bimini Tops and Enclosures

Every Bimini top and enclosure I create is custom-designed and fabricated specifically for your boat. Each pattern is made directly on the boat with the frame in place, ensuring a perfect fit and appearance. "Custom marine canvas" means that every detail is tailored to your boat and your specific needs, resulting in a clean, professional finish and unmatched quality—far beyond what factory-made canvas products can achieve.

Inspired by Boat Wake Design

My designs and methods are based on those developed by Mark and Deb Hood of Hood Canvas. Mark, an IFAI Certified Master Fabric Craftsman, is renowned worldwide for his innovative designs. These Bimini tops and enclosures feature:

  • Durable custom visors at the forward and aft ends.
  • Seamless "natural intersections" between the top and curtains.

The result? A polished, custom look with no exposed zippers or gaps between panels.

While this approach requires more care, attention, and materials, the superior quality and craftsmanship make it well worth the effort.

Marine-Grade Frames and Hardware

I use only marine-grade stainless steel for all frames and hardware—no aluminum tubing or plastic fittings. Each frame is custom-designed and fabricated in my shop to ensure the perfect combination of strength, functionality, and aesthetics. The 1-inch diameter stainless steel tubing provides both durability and a sleek, substantial look.

I’ll work closely with you throughout the design process to ensure your frame meets your needs and complements your boat's style.

Quality Materials for Longevity

A strong, durable frame paired with meticulous, custom canvas work is key to a top-quality Bimini top or enclosure. That’s why I use only the best marine-grade materials, including:

  • Solarfix UV-resistant thread for lasting durability.
  • Sunbrella marine fabrics, known for their superior performance in marine environments.

Unlike factory or off-the-shelf products that cut costs with lower-quality materials, my custom designs are built to last. While cheaper options may save you money upfront, they often result in poor fit, shorter lifespans, and higher long-term costs.

By investing in high-quality materials and craftsmanship, you’ll enjoy a product that performs beautifully and stands the test of time.
